Bingham OS — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bingham Mechanical, Inc. (“Bingham,” “we,” “us”) handles information in the Bingham OS web and mobile applications (the “App”). The App is a private workforce tool provided to Bingham employees for timekeeping, payroll-related tasks, training, and human-resources functions. Accounts are created and managed by Bingham; the App is not offered to the general public and has no public sign-up.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. We share information only:

Location permission

The App accesses your device’s location only when you initiate a clock-in or clock-out action. The App does not collect location information in the background, continuously, or when you are not actively using the timekeeping function. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time — in the app, open Profile → Privacy & permissions → Location, or use your device settings directly. Clock in/out will still work, but jobsite location will not be recorded.

Camera and photos

The App asks for camera and photo-library access only so you can attach a receipt or document photo to your timecard. It is used only when you tap to add a photo; the App does not scan, browse, or upload your photos automatically. You can decline or revoke this access in your device settings — the rest of the App continues to work.

Push notifications

You can enable or disable push notifications at any time in the App settings or your device settings.

Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as needed for employment, legal, and recordkeeping purposes. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and optional two-factor authentication.

Your account

Because accounts are provisioned and owned by your employer, account creation, changes, and deactivation are handled by Bingham. To request access, corrections, or removal of your account or personal data, contact us below or speak with Bingham HR.

Data deletion requests

Because the App is provided by Bingham Mechanical to its employees, employment records are retained in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Employees may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting us at accounts@binghammechanical.com or by speaking with Bingham HR. Certain records may be retained where required by law, payroll regulations, tax obligations, or legitimate business recordkeeping requirements.

Children

The App is for Bingham employees and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the effective date above when we do.
